A small number of SSD1322 OLED screens were shipped with a 000Ω resistor fitted in the wrong position. If left uncorrected, this can prevent the display from working correctly.
Before connecting the screen to your Raspberry Pi or applying power, take a moment to inspect the board.
If you’re unsure, compare your board with a known-good reference image before continuing.
If the resistor is fitted at R6, the fix is straightforward provided you are comfortable using a soldering iron.
Either method restores the correct connection and resolves the issue.
Most display issues are caused by wiring mistakes — take your time and verify each connection.
